Au cours des millénaires, l’espèce humaine s’est développée au détriment de la nature dont elle a oublié qu’elle dépendait. Aujourd’hui, nous avons gravement endommagé notre planète et nous-même souffrons d’un profond mal-être dans ce monde absurde que nous avons créé.
La survie de l’humanité dépend d’un changement urgent de notre attitude par rapport à notre environnement. Constamment assaillis de chiffres et d’images catastrophes qui renforcent un sentiment d’impuissance, cette nécessité d’action, pourtant vitale, reste négligée, voire ignorée.
Comment sensibiliser autrement les personnes à la protection de notre planète ? Comment leur redonner l’espoir et l’envie de faire changer les choses ?
En 2009 est né un collectif culinaire, Cook it Raw, militant pour le respect de la nature par le biais d’une cuisine directement puisée en son sein, la raw food : une gastronomie primitive, brute, sauvage, mais extrêmement raffinée. Cette cuisine fait appel à nos instincts primaires les plus enfouis pour retrouver ce lien, aujourd’hui désacralisé et pourtant toujours vital, qui nous unit à notre Terre Mère.
J’aimerais créer un lieu qui mette en scène cette nourriture, tant matérielle que spirituelle. J’imagine cette «expérience primitive» comme un rituel iniatique à suivre pour accéder à la dégustation. Une succession d’étapes dont la scénographie sublime cette communion avec la nature. Un retour à l’origine des temps, par la gastronomie, la poésie et le rêve.
Ce lieu contemporain s’inscrit dans un cadre urbain, à Paris, pour offrir aux citadins l’échappée poétique dont ils ont besoin.

Over thousands of years, the human race has expanded to the detriment of nature, which it forgot it depended on. Today, we have severely damaged our planet and ourselves suffer from a profound ill-being in this absurd world we have created.
The survival of humanity depends on an urgent change of our behaviour towards our environment. Constantly bombarded with catastrophic figures and images that reinforce a feeling of helplessness, the need for action, yet vital, remains neglected, even ignored.
What other way could we think of to raise public awareness to the protection of our planet? How to restore their hope and desire to make things change?
In 2009 was born a culinary collective, Cook it Raw, activist for the respect of nature through a cooking directly drawn within it, the raw food : a primitive, yet extremely refined gastronomy. This cuisine appeals to our primary instincts to feel again this connection, nowadays desacralized, and yet still vital, that unites us to our Mother Earth.
I would like to create a place which stages this both material and spiritual food. I imagine this “primitive experience” as an initiatic ritual to follow to reach the tasting. A succession of steps where the scenography sublimates this communion with nature. A return to the origin of time, by gastronomy and onirism.
This contemporary place fits into an urban frame, in Paris, to offer the city-dwellers the poetic breakaway that they need.
